Posted on September 26, 2019 by arcuterie

Ola-Dele studied architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI - Arc), in Los Angeles, Ca, USA, and SCI-Arc (European Programme) in Vico Mocorte, Ticino, Switzerland. From traveling around the globe, he currently lives and works in Belgium and is continuously working on his ’Cultural Mapping Project’ (2002 – present), which is an ‘Education Development Programme’ focusing on the establishment of ‘Post Conflict Rehabilitation Programme’ as an academic course of study in architecture school and art academies. He has written and lectured on various theoretic proposals (in Design Application and Applied Architecture), for Conflict Prevention and Post Conflict Rehabilitation in developing countries and conflict zones. Concentrating on significant topics such as religion, collaboration and architectural education, the interview aims to question the overall discipline of architecture.

This interview expresses Ola-Dele Kuku’s views and theoretical thoughts on architectural design and the built environment. His views and intriguing insights create a different world of sound, time and space. Completely captivated by the fundamental truths in his words, Ola-Dele fights and continues to fight for valuable architecture.
